Hard to Find Out of Print Book by Peter Wherrett and Andrew Lloyd James

This is not a definitive history of the automobile. It was never meant to be. There are enough of those around already, most of them a little clinical, perhaps treating some cars with more reverence than they ever deserved.

I would like to have written all of this from personal experience but I'm not old enough to qualify. Nevertheless I would not have attempted to write about a period of history in which I was not personally involved without first having sampled a wide range of products of those periods.

The book, then, is an expansion of the original shooting scripts devised by Andy Lloyd James and myself for the television series, Marque. It serves two purposes. For those who want it, it commits to memory the series in verbal and pictorial form. As well, it has provided the opportunity to expand upon scripts of necessity limited by time.
