It comes fully painted and ready to display. The edition size is very small, limited to only 1200 made. This limited-edition,(#0136 of 1200) hand-painted cold-cast statue measures approximately 12" tall and includes a full-color certificate of authenticity.

Sole survivor of an ancient Martian race, J'onn J'onzz aka Martian Manhunter, came to Earth to warn of an impending invasion. J'onn J'onzz aka Martian Manhunter was a founding memebr of the Justice League of America which included Superman, Batman, Flash, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and J'Onn J'Onzz the Manhunter from Mars. The JLA is considered to be the longest running Super Hero team in Comics. Justice League of America blazed into action in BRAVE & BOLD #28 (Feb-March 1960) fighting a giant mutated starfish. Conceived as a revival of the Justice Society of America who appeared in ALL-STAR COMICS from 1940 to 1951, the Justice League featured all of DC's major super-stars in action together. Most Comic fans consider Flash in Showcase # 4 (September 1956) the beginning of the Silver Age of Comics, but did you know that before the Flash made his appearance, DC introduced to comics fans the Martian Manhunter in Detective Comics #225 cover dated November 1955. This classic, often forgotten DC Superhero celebrates his 50th birthday in this magnificant Statue by Alex Ross. This statue is brand new,has only been opened for inspection,  never been displayed.
