You are bidding on One lot of Rigid Sports Strapping Tape

A lot contains 6 rolls. Each roll is 15 metres in length and 3.8cm in width   

 

The Tape adhesive is made up of the following substances;

Zinc Oxide – Used in ointments, creams and lotions to protect against sunburn.  Zinc Oxide is a crucial ingredient in strapping tape to allow the adhesive to cure and have a rubber like effect.  Zinc Oxide is also water insoluble giving the tape its waterproof properties.

Rosin – Used in medicines, chewing gum, soap and adhesives. Rosin Provides the strapping tape with improved adhesion qualities such as friction reduction to limit the movement of the tape whilst joints are under strain

Lanolin - Used to soothe the skin, chapped lips, dry skin, diaper rash and skin abrasions. Lanolin is used in the strapping tape to provide a hypoallergenic coating in the adhesive to avoid irritation. It also adds to its waterproofing properties.

Coconut Oil – Used in cosmetics and baking. Coconut oil is one of the most stable of the vegetable oil range. Coconut Oil is used in the strapping tape due to the UV resistance and anti-oxidation it provides to the adhesive.

 

Petroleum Jelly ( Vaseline) – Used as an all purpose lubricant. Vaseline is used in the strapping tape for its lubricating properties.

The tape is made of 100% cotton.

The yarn is 30x30 and the density per inch is 72x 72
