MIB Vintage 18" Madame Alexander Dear America Doll

Over the next few months I will be listing a lot of antique, vintage and collectable items from my mother's estate as unfortunately I cannot keep them all. I will also be downsizing my antique doll collection.

Up for auction is a lovely Mint in Box, Madame Alexander doll which is one of the Dear America Series based on the books and acclaimed HBO television series. She is Margaret Ann Brady, Voyage of the Titanic. She has never been taken out of her box and her lovely soft blonde ringlet hair is still in the hair net. She is wearing her original beautiful apricot colour dress which is trimmed with pretty floral braids & laces  and has a satin bodice and undersleeves.She has white stockings and brown suede type shoes. She has a beautiful serene face with multi stroked eyebrows, lovely blue sleep eyes , painted and nylon upper eyelashes and a cute little button nose and peach colour closed mouth. Apparently she would have had a story book/diary in the box as well but this is missing, but she has her own hairbrush.  Madame Alexander has been making dolls in America since 1923 and they are very collectable.
