MINI BLIZZARD INTERCOOLER KIT HOLDEN SUPERCHARGED 6 L67

Up for auction is our mini blizzard water to air intercooler kit, from our blizzard range of intercoolers, to suit Holden factory supercharged 6 engines (L67 engines).

With a low starting price of $1100 and no reserve, it represents exceptional value considering the fact that the recommended retail prices of these intercooler kits are around $1990!

Exclusive to our blizzard range of water to air intercoolers, is their composite thermal resistant housing! What this means this means is that our coolers do a much better job of cooling the air from the supercharger, compared to their aluminium counterparts as the composite housing doesn't absorb anywhere near as much heat from the engine! Not only does this improve outright power, but also significantly reduces heat soak issues over conventional aluminium housings.

The above benefits stem from the fact that our composite material has a thermal conductivity of 0.29 W/m*K as opposed to 150 W/m*K for aluminium. Therefore, our composite material conducts heat 500 times less than Aluminium!

With the installation our mini blizzard intercooler, it allows you to drop from a 3.4 to either a 3.25 or 3.2 inch pulley, on a virtually stock car and all without the need of an expensive tune*. In addition, car idle and drivability remain unchanged even with the factory tune!

You can run an even smaller pulley for higher boost, but then you’ll most likely require a custom tune.

By dropping down in pulley size from 3.4 to 3.2 and the inclusion of our water to air cooler kit, gains of around 30hp are common. Higher horsepower gains can be achieved by further reducing pulley size.

The only mods that this car had to achieve these results are as follows.

• MACE mini blizzard intercooler kit

• MACE 1.9 ratio rockers

• MACE 16psi pulley

• MACE Cold air replacement air box kit

• Twin 2 1/2 exhaust cat back exhaust system, no extractors or hi-flow cats!

The mini only raises the supercharger a mere 25mm so it will easily fit under the bonnet of your Commodore, without having to modify your air-box ducting, coil pack or bonnet. In many cases you can still retain your strut tower brace (subject to brace type) in your Commodore with the installation of our mini blizzard intercooler.

• Full size front mount radiator (600X330X50mm)
• Front mount radiator brackets
• Quality Flojet pump

• All hoses including fill kit
• All hose clamps, fittings

• Fitting instructions

This kit comes complete with everything you need except for engine coolant (genuine Holden coolant required) and a new supercharger belt.

Please note also available are our intermediate (52mm thick) and mega blizzard (58mm thick) cooler kits

We also offer precision CNC porting of the supercharger and lower intake manifold at extra cost.

*As every car is different, we always recommend that you get your intercooler kit installed by a professional or at least inspected by one, to determine as to whether or not your car needs a tune.
