MITE-RID 45ml Concentrate Hydroponic/Greenhouse

Mite-Rid contains a number of essential botanical oils including NEEM Oil which acts as a deterrent for insects by interfering with their feeding and reproductive cycle. Mite-Rid is an effective control agent in many situations where insect pests appear. Mite-Rid also provides a preventive barrier on plants when used regularly. Mite-Rid is quickly taken into the plant where it remains for several days. Mite-Rid that is not absorbed by the plant degrades rapidly. Plants have very little sensitivity to Mite-Rid as it is non toxic, although small scale applications should always be carried out before applying to main crop. Mite-Rid is suitable for all ornamental crops grown in either soil or hydroponic applications.

Directions for use:

Foliar Applications: 5mls per 2 litres (0.2oz per 5 pints) of lukewarm water. Spray to run off weekly while problem persists.
Soil applications: 2mls per 10 litres (0.1oz per 4 gal) of water. Saturate soil around affected area, and dose weekly.
Hydroponic tanks: 2mls per 10 litres of water. Dose tank and run for 1 week through the system, then dump tank.

Please note:

Depending on water quality some fine sediment may occur, so agitate bottle while spraying.
Can be sprayed at any stage of crop cycle, however we advise avoiding spraying during heavy flowering.
Outdoor applications: spraying early morning or late afternoon is advisable.
Indoor applications: move lights away from plants when applying spray, or just before lights off. Stirring fans should be turned off when applying product and extraction fans should remain on.
Once mixed, the effectiveness of this product reduces dramatically. Product shelf life after mixing is approximately 7 days.
Do not harvest for 7 days after application.

COMPATIBILITY:

It is advised that a small compatibility test be done before mixing with other products.
The product will thicken in cold weather and may need to be warmed to reduce viscosity.
Warnings and Safety directions: Store away from sunlight as this degrades the product rapidly.
Avoid contaminating ponds (e.g. toxic to fish).
When spraying any products always wear a suitable mask (although Mite-Rid is non-hazardous), and gloves up to the elbow.
After use wash hands, arms and face thoroughly with soap and water.
Keep lid firmly closed after use.
Avoid contact with eyes, if swallowed seek medical advice.
Keep away from pregnant women, children and animals.
Do not apply if temperature exceeds 28°C
