The moon has been important to the earliest civilizations here on Earth. It has been used for measuring time and keeping track of the seasons. At a very early stage it was recognized that the Moon was the main cause of tides. Over the centuries it has also become closely associated with religion. Lunar worship was widespread, and the Moon was regarded either as a god, or as the dwelling place of god. The Egyptian god Thoth, patron of learning and the arts, was associated with the Moon, as was the deity Khons, who cured the sick and exorcised spirits. The Babylonian Moon-god Sin was the lord of the calendar as well as of wisdom. The Greeks worshipped the Moon as Selene, sister of Helios, the Sun-god, and the Romans later identified Selene with their own Moon-goddess, Luna. For centuries people of Earth have found endless enjoyment simply looking at the Moon. The Moon will never loose its romance or fascination.

Thank you for taking the time to find out more about our Lunar Land Property Project (in particular the Prinzville Estate). This is probably the least expensive real estate in the Universe! It’s certainly the most romantic and the most fascinating. We believe that this estate is the VERY FIRST OF ITS KIND undertaken on the Moon and is therefore a unique opportunity!
The Prinzville Estate development is in area D-4 / quadrant Charlie, which is approximate longitude 40-44W and latitude 26-30N. In simple terms the development is near the Crater Prinz on the lighted side of the Earth’s Moon. It’s approximately 1100 kilometers from where Apollo 12 landed and 1200 kilometers from where Apollo 14 and Apollo 15 landed. Prinzville has a sister city on Mars, this sister city is Munatown (also available for sale).
Prinzville Estate is a new development and consists in total of 1,777.58 acres (approximately 720 Hectares). This sale is for real! I originally purchased this parcel of land back in January 1998 from Dennis Hope in California. But how can someone own a title on the Moon? The United Nations (UN) Outer Space Treaty of 1967 stipulates that no government can own extraterrestrial property. However, it neglected to mention individuals and corporations. Therefore, under earlier laws it was possible to stake a claim for land and register these claims. A declaration of ownership was successfully filed by Dennis Hope in 1980 with the United Nations as well with as the US and Russian governments. With your purchase you have the right to rent or sell your land title to anyone you choose.
Your rights as a land title owner include the mineral rights. Unfortunately you can’t charge others if they land a spacecraft on or near your property. The Outer Space Treaty (1967) clearly states that the Moon and other celestial bodies are for the heritage of all mankind for the purposes of exploration. So, people can land on or traverse across your property as long as they are exploring. To preserve the appearance of the lunar surface all cities are zoned for underground construction. There are NO ongoing charges to you (rates etc).
