COMPLETE MOTARD SETUP FOR KTM EXC/SX MODELS OR HUSABERG
NICKEL-PLATED TALON HUBS, CHROME ALLOY RIMS, HEAVY DUTY SS SPOKES

These wheels are in excellent condition and would be a good alternative for anyone chasing a brand new setup for a KTM or Husaberg as they've had minimal use. The chromed alloy rims are laced with heavy duty stainless steel spokes to nickel-plated Talon hubs manufactured from aircraft-grade solid billet 7075T6 alloy.

This is a complete kit with speedo magnet and tyres; you won't even need to use your existing spacers so simply bolt on and ride away. It even includes an unused factory KTM chain if you opt to keep your dirt/road gearing separate! This kit will be great value for anyone after a stunning set of wheels:

- Chromed alloy 3.50x17 and 5.00x17 rims from Germany, true, no flat spots, excellent condition
- Talon alloy hubs, nickel-plated
- Heavy duty stainless steel spokes
- 41 tooth sprocket, brand new
- 320mm front disc with speedo magnet and 220mm rear disc, virtually no wear

MODELS THESE WHEELS SHOULD FIT
- All KTM EXC and SX 125, 250, 300, 450, 525, 530 models from 2003 on
- Husaberg FE400, FE450 FE501, FE550 FE570 FE650, FC400, FC450, FC501, FC550, FC650 around 2003 on.

These wheels have 26mm front and 20mm rear axles and definitely fit a 530EXC, and fitment on these other models is based on advice from KTM dealers, motard resalers and motard forums. Please confirm this independently for your model if different, but the rule of thumb apparently is that if you have a 26mm front and 20mm rear axle then the wheel specs are identical.

I'm advised by KTM dealers that the 1999 to 2002 KTMs can also use these wheels by buying the cheap front spacers available here. I haven't personally tested this but please follow up with a KTM dealer if you have a 20mm front axle.

I'm also told that the 625 and 640 KTMs only need different-sized spacers to use these wheels but again please confirm this with your KTM dealer independently. Please don't email about whether these fit other bikes - they are specifically for KTMs and Husabergs.

CHANGEOVER & OPTIONAL 260MM FRONT DISC ARRANGEMENT
Changeover time is very quick as it comes complete with discs, no changing your discs and sprocket over, which takes longer than you'd think if you buy bare wheels. The caliper adapter takes very little time to swap over and is definitely worth the effort - the standard front disc is seriously underpowered for any fast road riding. However, if you'd prefer to minimise your changeover time the 320mm front disc and caliper adapter can be swapped with a brand new 260mm KKR heat-treated carbon steel disc that will fit straight into your existing caliper arrangement.

The standard KTM speedo works perfectly, you just recalibrate with a few button presses of the speedo for the 17 inch wheel for an accurate reading. Instructions on how to do this can be provided. Please note the five inch rear rim is the widest that can be fitted to KTMs and Husabergs. These rims can take a 160 width tyre but depending on the tyre profile it can be brushed by the chain. A 150 has been fitted to avoid the possibility of this. You'll need to either remove or modify your chain guard to fit the rear wheel, but you'll need to do this with any motard setup, even a 140 wheel on a narrow rear rim.

The wheels can be couriered to most places at very cheap rates with insurance against loss, please email for the price to your address (I've put $60 in but it could be less or more so it isn't a flat cost - e.g. Sydney is only $40, but Perth would be $95).

To answer a few questions that have been asked:
Yes, postage, packaging and insurance will be completely handled at this end so all you will need to do is provide an address for delivery during work hours. As per tyres, I wasn't too keen to try and estimate the amount of wear but there's plenty of rubber on the tyres and I can send hi res pics for you to zoom in and estimate for yourself. I was told the rims were German when purchased; I'm only familiar with Beher rims from German y but checked the rims closely - I could find no identifying marks on the rear rim and only 'yoko' on the front so please note that this part of the ad cannot be verified.
