Up for auction is 40 Macrozamia communis seeds, A native to the south coast nsw these plants can take a reasonable frost, and are very hardy, needing little water, being an Australian native the aboriginals called them Burrawang, the seeds are toxic to eat raw, however it was a staple diet of the local koori tribes who would leech the seeds before eating. The seed is freshly collected this month,may to august, best to soak seeds before sowing, sprout or pop sometimes 4 to 6 months after sowing, can be done in a plastic bag in a dark cupboard.
