Murder Casebook 52 Magazine - Fake Suicide - Suicide By Proxy. Alfred Rouse, Robert Healey, Erich Tetzner - Three men whose desperation led them to flirt with suicide - but the lives they took were not their own.
Rouse, Healey and Tetzner - missing or mutilated bodies were wrongly identified, so the presumed dead walked while an unknown corpse played the role of victim.
Alfred Rouse had not committed any violent crimes before, with cold calculation, he killed a stranger and used the corpse as a substitute for his own.
Feature on John Stonehouse who also tried to disappear.
Robert Healey - in a mood of marital despair, a man walked into the sea and vanished. His wife and daughter, too were missing. Was it suicide that caused the disappearance of an entire family or was it murder?
Erich Tetzner - as the scheming couple headed towards their car, the pivot of their dreams. Once this car and its driver were burnt beyond recognition, they could begin their life of wealth and freedom. Erich Tetzner claimed he had run over a hitch hiker but there was evidence to show that his victim had been mutilated, killed and burnt.
