Brass Desk Set with 2 Ink Wells.

Magnificant is the only word to describe this incredibly ornate and beautiful Brass Desk Set!

The front feet on the base of the Desk Set has 'Angel Faces and wings' at either corner. The 2 back corners have ornate emblems. The edge of the Desk Set has scroll work in the front with a beaded design around the entire edge. The indented ledge at the front of the Desk Set has has an embossed floral design. The panel in front of the raised letter holding area features 2 winged Cherubs on either side of Vase of flowers in an ornate setting. The back panel has a long stemmed Rose in the centre at the base. On either side at the base is a Cornucopia (Horn of Plenty). At the top, in the centre is another Cherub who looks to be holding up two discs. Below him are floral and wing designs. The lids on the 2 Ink Wells have deeply scalloped rims with embossed bands around a tiny ball knob. Both still have their original brass lift-out wells.

The Desk Set is 19.8cm in height x 29.7cm in length x 19.7cm in width.

Our parents collected brass from the early '50's to the late '80's. We have no real idea of the exact age, but it is definately not new. 

The Desk Set has been used and is in beautiful condition with no cracks, dents, chips and very little patina. It will however need a good polish or perhaps you might leave it as it is.

We only charge Australia Post's rates plus .50 cents for packaging and there are no other extra 'hidden' charges. We do not 'blanket' charge unless the item weighs under 500gms, as we prefer to charge the correct amount of postage rated on your Postcode. We post your item within 24-48 hours after full payment has been received.

The Desk Set will leave us as described. We take great care with our packaging, using new bubble wrap, foam peanuts and or styrofoam packing where necessary, so please do not hold us accountable for any damage or loss incurred by Australia Post.

We do our best to describe each item, including any flaws, however we may unintentionally miss a flaw and for this we apologise for doing so.  We will refund only if the item has been grossly misrepresented and returned to us within 7 days.
