Gathering bush tucker and performing ceremonies in the artist's grandmother's country, Anmatyerre Homelands, 300 km north-west of Alice Springs. This painting is as good as it gets, very detailed, rich in colour and intensity; a veritable masterpiece from Gabriella. She is a rising start with an international profile and huge fan base. Larger works of this quality are rare and not readily available. Comes with a disc of working photographs and Certificate of Authenticity from Western Desert Aboriginal Art Pty Ltd.  The painting measures 211 X 135 cm, acrylic on hand prime Belgian linen. Signed on verso. The viewer is invited to forage amongst the imagery for bush food in much the same way that the Dreamtime women examined their country in order to find the edible plants to sustain their lifeblood.
