The Chargers are well and truly  suitable for genuine makita batteries only. A maximum charging time no more than 30 minutes! It has a 16 stage torque adjustment setting,light hammer drilling action and two variable speed controls.  

The 14.4v 1.3ah NiCad rated battery life is still very healthy, as i always let it run down to maintain good battery life before charging it,for no more than 30 minutes! as required . An aus/nz standard 240 volt plugs only for chargers.
