Silverplate Bun, Breakfast, Food Warmer 

JUST IN TIME FOR THE HOLIDAYS!!!

This beautiful piece was recently purchased from an old estate sale.  

Stunning silverplate Breakfast Warmer dome by the prestigious Mappin & Webb.  This breakfast warmer is truly spectacular.  It is very large and has an unusual round shape.  At the top of the dome is a gorgeous detailed engraved crest.  There are two lovely handles and highly detailed and extremely well done rams heads at the top of each graceful cabriole leg!   

The top rolls back effortlessly revealing two liners.  The first liner has a pierced design and second liner is solid.  There is a small key that when placed holds the dome from rolling back.

 

The warmer is in very good condition with NO plate loss, dings or dents.  There are only 2 scratches at the top, at the BACK of the dome...see last photo.  Nothing too noticable.  Other than that there are only the normal light scratches from mormal use and age. There is a small knob at the front lid is put into place with a small screw...I am unsure if that is originally how it was palced...either way It absolutely does not take away from the piece at all.
