They are coming from Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

  Crimson Four O'Clock flowers is an incredible colour with the most wonderful fragrance.
Showy four o'clocks are perennial plants that die back to their roots each year.
These plants form large clumps from multiple stems.

My Plants have grown to a height of up to 4 & 1/2 feet tall and as wide.

They are extremely fragrant as I had mentioned, especially in the evening hours, hence the name four O’clock flowers as that is when they start to open there flower each day.
Brush past them or just take the time to smell the fantastic fragrance in the flowers.

They make great container plants in tubs or large pots.
I have actually grown some in broccoli boxes just to see how well they grow.
And as of NOW, I have successfully grown these plants and yes they are flowering in Planter bags.
I am growing some of mine in the plastic style kitty litter bags. dog feed bags turned inside out.

They are wonderful border plants.

Sow seeds directly into the garden just before the last frost in your area.
Cover seeds with 1/4" of soil.
Space plants 12 inches apart or more up to two feet apart.
Four O''Clock prefer full sun, but will tolerate partial shade.
Note that in partial shade they may grow lanky.
In this case please stake using tomato stakes them or tie them to something to support the weight of the flowers in a figure 8 tie.
However they will still flower the same as if you had grown them in the sun, if not better and the fragrance is just the same, absolutely wonderful.

They will do well in any type of soil. For me they did anyway.
However try these to see if they will grow in your soil, you never know, you may be very surprised.

It is recommended that they will do well in rich, well composted soil as they are big eaters.

Keep soil moist. Add a general purpose fertilizer once or twice a month to encourage vigorous growth.
I didn't have to feed my plants for some reason and they still flowered wonderfully.
I personally have just added newspaper mulch around all my plants with dry leaves, sawdust, kitty litter, and I water these flowers with any and all types of recycled water and here they grow well.
I have had not one plant die on me as yet. Touch wood.

Once established, it becomes a large, shrub-like plant 18 to 48 inches tall and 36 to 60 inches wide producing hundreds of blooms beginning in late summer and continuing until late autumn.
This four O’clock plant, flowers for 9 months of the year.

Newspaper Mulch
This is how I do it.
I get the whole complete newspaper, I open the newspaper from the middle and I lay the whole newspaper down like a blanket, I overlap each blanket of newspaper so I don’t leave any gaps.
Then I add any of these that I can get leaf mulch, sawdust, shavings.
I have also added washed in recycled water used kitty litter
