This Small Board's primary use is to output a binary number for use with circuits or components. Simply adapt a Matrix Keypad, press a key, and the binary equivalent will appear on the output lines. It also comes with a couple more features, these include; An ICSP for re-programming a different Matrix arrangement 2-Way DIP switch to switch between "Matrix Arrangements" and "Type of Output" ("Normal BCD" and "DTMF" for use with the communications system and DTMF Chips) 4-bit Binary Number LED indicator and output 8-bit Binary Number output Chip Enable button with LED indicator and output (+ inverted output) Push-On Push-Off button with LED indicator and output Momentary-On button with LED indicator and output Power On indicator LED

Please Read

The Keypad Interface comes with default software for standard Keypads.
These include keypads with the Pinout of;
column1,c2,c3,c4,row1,r2,r3,r4 (4x4 matrix)
and
column2,row1,c1,r4,c3,r3,r2 (3x4 matrix)

Please advise before payment if you need me to update the software to suit a specific keypad with a different pin-out to the two listed above.
If no update is required, I will post the item with default software.

Assembled or Kit?

Please also advise before payment if you would prefer your item shipped as a kit.
The Microcontroller will come mounted and programmed and all other components will be supplied.

If contact is not made before payment, the item will be shipped assembled and with the default software.
