The Maxxis Big Horn is the most aggressive mud terrain you can get and still be ok on the road. I have been running this on my GQ (3" lift with 2" Body Lift) and I LOVE them. They are quite, handle great on the road the traction is fabulous. I drove Fultons Track the other day (very very steep) and the tyres did not slip once. I am very impressed and give them my full endorsement.
The tread goes all the way to the very edge of the shoulder and the aggressive side wall lugs bite into ruts and offer greater protection to the tyre as well.
The lugs are all offset and different in length and width. This eliminates resonating and in turn makes them very quite. The offset lugs mean exposed bite faces for extra grip. The shoulder lugs are at 90 degrees which makes them ideal for forward drive traction.
I would run this as my everyday set of tyres and they would be suitable for being just my one set that can do everything.
