Had big plans for this 3rd owner Series 3 Rx7 - Me being the Third! I have started spending some decent cash on the vehicle to have a Series 5 13B Turbo engine fitted with the intent to add the Turbo and EFI later.
However, I have just come into some cash and decided now to buy an FD model Rx7 instead as ive always wanted a turbo rotor. I have now decided with some regret to sell this vehicle to someone who can make it into their pride and joy.
Here's the good things about my Series 3 :
*Cyclops Alarm and immobiliser
*Fresh Series 5 13B Turbo Low Kay Import Engine - Running Factory 12A Carby
*Car has only done 1000k's since conversion.
*Extractors and Rotor Flow Exhaust System not too loud to attract any cars with flashing lights.
*Import 12A Turbo 5 Speed Gearbox
*Very Tidy Original Interior - Purchased from Old couple who have owned since '93
*Totaly stock car until 13b was fitted
*Genuine 195K on the clock
*Good Tyres - 80% Tread
*Rego Until Mid December
*Has a Kenwood deck just needs hooking up.
*Minimal Rust for age of vehicle - Minor in the usual spots around lower of rear hatch glass
*Factory 26 spline rear end that is the best of the 1st gen rx7's
*Will get an engine compression test done for anyone that wants to see how good the motor is.
Things that need a little Attention
*Paint is a bit average, some blemishes on Bonnet and fading around roof and rear - Pics of roof but not of bonnet just ask if wanted.
*Dash has some cracks as normal in these cars and thats why it has a dash mat.
*Usually bumps and scratches for a car of this age (Old Previous owners - They thought the bumpers were a parking aid)
*Some freeplay in steering box - also common for this model but very repairable
*A few rattles and noises that you always get from a sports car.
End of the day, ive tried to be honest about the good and the bad. The good list is way bigger than the bad list.
This is a great starting point as its real hard to get a S3 for less than $6 or $7k, i upgraded and got the 12AT box so if i wanted to put the turbo on it would hold it ok.
Its a great car and if i did not have a FD coming i would keep it for sure as S3 RX7 are getting hard to find for not much money these days, so if you want more pics just ask or come have a look and see what you think as its a real honest car.
Buy it now is not even going to cover what ive spent doing the conversion but im also open to good offers but nothing stupid or response may offend.
Included with the car is a mint 4.44 diff that i purchased from ebay thats worth $350 - $400 that will bolt straight into the car and give you the awesome ratio.
Grab a bargin!!!!
Payment is to be made within 3days.
Paypal is ok but buyer will have to pay the fees.
Please no time wasters as if you buy it now its not to come have a look.
If you want more pics ask or arrange for a time to come have a look.
Interstate buyers no problem just organise your own transport and ill drop the car at the depot at no charge.
Thanks for looking
