Very Rare & collectable pottery dog (kelpie), made by McHugh of Tasmania in the late 1800's or early 1900's.

Pricing guides for other dogs (german shepards), by same designer indicate a value of $1600- $1900.

 This item is rare & have been unable to find another the same, so I have started the reserve well under its value & will leave it to the bidders to decide!

Teeth are good, tongue appears tip missing, hard to tell in photo's due to reflection from glaze.

Makers mark hard to see by photograph but is evident under the glaze.

Dimensions are 34cm x 15cm and 22.5cm in height

Will post anywhere at buyers expense.

Note: ebay forces paypal option but would prefer bank deposite or C.O.D
