great diagonal for the price and will work on any smaller refractor, schmidt cassegrain or
maksutov telescope that accepts 1.25" eyepieces. It features a plastic body and first surface mirror.

If your scope is on the less-expensive side why spend $30 and more for a diagonal?
This one will do the job, and it's a steal!

By the way, just what are first surface mirrors?

First surface mirrors are made for applications requiring a strict reflection without a ghosting effect as seen with a second surface mirror - where a faint secondary reflection could be observed, coming from the front surface of the glass. This includes most optical applications where light is being manipulated in a specific manner. Telescopes, projection televisions, and periscopes use this type of mirror.
