TOTALLY TERRIFIC TUBE!

Up for bid is a BRAND NEW Meade DS-2090 refractor optical tube assembly and a 1.25" 90 degree diagonal lens holder! It looks exactly like the one in the picture except it is BLUE. This scope accepts 1.25" eyepieces and would make a great guide scope to mount to the back of a larger scope for astrophotography as it weighs only 3 to 4 pounds. It would also make a great upgrade from the DS-2060 through DS-2070 since it comes with the mounting clamshell to attach it to the DS-2000 or DSX mount. This 90mm lens gives crisp, sharp views of the Moon and planets and the rack and pinion focuser provides smooth motion with little image movement.  The tripod and mount are NOT included; optical tube assembly only.
