TEA TREE - SOURCE OF TEA TREE OIL
GENUS MELALEUCA ALTERNIFOLIA

This tea tree is the source of tea tree oil. A fastgrowing evergreen shrub to 6 metres by 4 metres acrosswith papery bark and foliage to 2.5 centimetres. Originally from northern NSW and southern Queensland but now extensively cultivated for its high volume high quality tea tree oil. It has attractive white bottlebrush - like flowers to 5 cm in the summer. Temperate climates are preferred but almost any soil from soggy to sandy are suitable.

This auction is for 250 fresh seed. Item shipped by ordinary mail upon receipt of clear funds. Postage cost of 60 cents. ***Save 50% postage & handling on additional lots that are combined for shipment.
