These are listings i have had listed on ebay over time ,i have recently imported new plants from overseas and want to eventually sell them so i am making room by selling off some of my older plant variteys .I think this is excellent value for money and i am willing to allow you to swap and change if you wish .However you must contact me first before doing this to make sure i have enough plants to do so.Only plants in this listing can be changed .
Aristea major
A beautiful perennial that produces wonderful electric blue flowers that would rival any blue flowering plant.Very easy to grow and requires a full sunny position in a well drained soil.Very drought tolerant once established and also frost tolerant.
In late spring huge torch like flowers are produced carrying hundreds of tiny blue flowers which open up in the full sunshine .
You are bidding on large plants 30 cms in height that should flower for you in 2009,they will be sent bare rooted and packed in moss for you .
Sisyrinchium striatum
A beautiful perennial that produces beautiful soft cream flower on long stems throughout mid spring to summer.Very drought/frost tolerant and it like to be planted in a full sunny aspect in a well drained soil.Very little maintenance is required apart from the dead heading of old flower stems and the occasional leaf .
Large plants on offer that will be sent out bare rooted and packed in moss for you ,these plants should flower for you this season .
Geranium pyrenaicum "Bill Wallis"
A gorgeous Geranium to grow that produces a mass of small dainty purple blue flowers throughout spring and summer ,absolutely stunning when planted in mass in the full sunshine .Like allot of the cranbills they require a full sunny to partly shaded position in a well drained moist soil,the better the soil the better the results usually.
Plants generally form clumps 30 cms by 30 cms and when it flower can spill over easily to 50 cms around .This plant is frost tolerant and slightly drought tolerant although for best results some moisture is beneficial.Plants will be dug and packed in moss for postage .
Libertia ixiodes "Goldfinger"
A lovely foliaged perennial that is so tough and looks wonderful planted with the black mondo grass.Plants eventually grow to clumps 30 cms x 30 cms and it likes to be planted in a full sunny position to really bring out its colour ,flower are insignificant.
Plants are currently growing in 150mm pots they will be taken out of their pots and packed in moss for you .
Echium English hybrids
This plant is not to be confused with Echium plantagineum or otherwise known as Paterson's curse the noxious weed .
I imported this seed from the UK this year and have germinated the seed and potted them on into 140mm pots.I cant guarantee what colors they will be so you may get a nice surprise.I would imagine going by there leaf they will be a mix of blue and purple shades .
These plants like to be planted in full sun in a well drained soil and are extremely drought tolerant and will even handle coastal conditions.They are quite quick growers and when in flowers the bees just love them.They usually grow for me to 2.5 meters wide by 1.5 meters high.These plants hate root disturbance so gently take out of pot and plant ,they hate to be transplanted so choose your location wisely.Photos are a guide in what your plant may become ,as they are hybrids i cannot say what flower colour they will become .

The good old red hot poker has stood the test of time ,come in and out of fashion and has became popular again due to its drought tolerance capabilities .
Very easy to grow and really lights up a winters day with its electric torch likes flowers in the shades of scarlet orange and yellow.This is one of the reasons i have always grown it for when it flowers ,this variety is in full bloom usually in July August for me here in southern Victoria when not allot else is flowering .
Give it a full sunny position in a well drained soil and avoid animal manures ,a very low maintenance plant with just the odd dead head of spent flowers and leaves is required.

Geranium phaeum
A lovely geranium thats produces beautiful unusual black flowers .Very easy to grow and flowers for long periods .
It prefers to grow in a partly shaded postion and will be happy with all of the morning sun,it likes to be grown in a rich organic soil although will happily grow in a normal garden postion.
A very striking flowers and looks great planted in mass,it is frost tolerant and is half hardy and can survive some periods of dryness.However to perform at its best good soil and some moisture is benifical.
You are bidding on large divisions from my adult plants that take no time at all to establish themselves.

Geum tangerine
This plant has been given a diamond award by Tesselaar's for exceptional performance.
One of the best flowering perennials i grow for flowers and foliage i think anyway.This plant produces the most vibrant orange flowers held above slender stems that gently move about in the breeze.It flowering season goes for so long and flowers for me from spring to summer .
Plant in a full sunny postion in a well drained moist soil.It will survive drier periods for you but may not flower as well for you .Plants for me generally grow to about 40 cms across and when in flower stems generally reach 0.5 meters across.As i have already said it just flowers and flowers.You are bidding on very healthy plants currently in 150mm pots ,they will be taken out of pots and sent bare rooted for you and packed in moss.This is the ideal time of the year to plant this plant .
Commelina coelestris
An outstanding perennial that flowers in the brightess blue flowers very similar to the type i have used here.
Very rarely offered this plant is and i am certain is will become more popular when people get their hands on it .
So simply to grow ,it likes a fully sunny to part shade position and produces deep green fleshy leaves almost succulent like .It will eventually reach about 60cms by 30 cms for you and produces deep fleshly tuberous rootstock hence why it is so hardy.
Plants will begin to emerge for you in early Spring ,and In early summer for me in southern Victoria whords off electric blue flowers are produced and flowering can continue for some months.On the hottest of days it is quite remarkable and flowers will shut to protect themselves and in the morning and the evening open back open again .
I havent found any pests or diseases that effect this plant eccept for a snail now and then may chew a leaf .This is a herbaceous plant that will become dormant in winter.
