"When Microsoft designed the 360, they chose a slightly unusual way of mounting the
heat sinks to the processors. When the console is running, there is a tremendous
amount of heat build up inside the case. This causes the motherboard to flex against the
X-Clamp support plastic, which in turn can cause the soldered joints on
the processors to come away from the motherboard itself.
This results in the Red Lights of Death."
Your much loved console is not dead......don't sell it for a minimal amount....get it repaired. The same problem will not re-occur again!!!
I have repaired to as good as new condition countless consoles both with 2 and 3 Red Rings...the method has worked every time. Unless you really know what you are doing don't attempt it yourself. You can quite easily cause permanent damage to the console...don't risk it!!! I can also repair your damaged drive or dirty disk errors....you will pay for the parts of course ;)
**Please note that if you have already opened the console and poked around then I cannot guarantee there is nothing else wrong with your console. If upon investigation I discover other problem/s you will be notified straightaway. I will do the replacement regardless**
Once I receive your console I will advise you through Ebay and will send it back within 2 business days. Please ensure that you package your console securely as it is fragile.
I have bubble tape and can ensure it's tightly packaged upon return.
