How's this for a brilliant Prospecting Setup!


This is for 1 X Lithium Ion Battery. 7.4 Volts at 7.4 Amp Hours. One Universal Battery Charger that will work off 110 Volts to 240 Volts. Comes with Adapter so it can be used in the USA, UK, Australia. Comes with vehicle power connector for charging on the move.

Check the picture, I stick the battery with Velcro to the side of the detector,  I also stick my booster amp. The speaker connector is also supplied with the battery and I mount the Speaker to the top of the Arm Rest.

NO MORE HEAVY BACK PACK!   NO MORE WIRES!

No longer do you have to be tethered to the detector but you can still use the back pack and put the Lithium battery in the pack if you want. Its so small you could put it in your pocket!

The Lithium battery weighs just over 300 Grams,  The old Lead batteries weigh 2 KG.

These batteries suit GPX4000 and GPX4500 series detectors.

Note about Lithium Batteries, Minelab state their Battery is 8.4 Volts, Other Batteries are labeled 7.2 Volts 7.4 volts and 8.4 volts. These batteries are all the same. 8.4 volts is the surface charge voltage on these packs, all of these packs drop to 7.2-7.4 volts when being used.

A: Hi Frank, No I have not but I use these Batteries and enhancer on my GP3500 with great success. I had a fellow buy one today for a 4000 but I have not had any feedback from him as yet..
