Miniature Antique Clock set with Cupid & candlesticks

 

This charming Louise XVI style miniature antique French clock set is made in France around 1900.

Clock and two-light candlesticks are made of green onyx and bronze.

Clock is flanked by gilt bronze figurine of winged Cupid and holding his arrow & bow.

Miniature clocks were mainly made to perfectly fit in any book cabinets. Now it is a nice collector’s item.

 

The clock is in good antique condition. Dial ornate with hand painted flowers and Arabic numerals in perfect condition.  

Dial equipped with gilt pierced hands. In front dial is protected by a glass door. At the back movement also protected by a glass door.

French movement is with balance wheel, in good working condition.

Movement stamped with serial number 1389 Key included.
