On offer are 5 new (old stock) pieces of the Mini-Circuits brand Monolithic Microwave IC (MMIC), type MAR-6, in original factory packaging.

• Wide frequency range: DC-2GHz+
• High Gain .. 22dB at 100MHz, unconditionally stable
• Standard 50 Ohm impedance
• Original MMIC package (not SMD) so easier to handle with long leads

The MAR-6 is often used in receiver preamplifiers, due to its high gain and a low noise figure.

One such article (schematic below) for a Masthead Preamplifier was published in Electronics Australia magazine (sadly gone).

As you can see, these are very simple to get connected and working ... and available here for a limited time!

Although individual MCL list price on these is $1.40 US each, most vendors (especially outside the US) charge much more (eg. £2.60 each at Jab ...). Get a useful quantity here, starting at a fair price ... extraordinarily low postage too!

RFPlus is now well settled in to his cosy nook down here in Cornwall - and with the Postal Strike averted (Ya-hay!!!) it's time to start on some new listings. I've discovered several boxes from previous projects, most parts now being surplus to my needs, and with the ever present need for cashflow it's time to liberate them here on Ebay.
