        Thank you for looking at my store. These beads are solar active (well they're UV active) . They look like plain white beads until  you go into the sun, or under black lights that put out UV rays, then they turn. The stronger the UV rays are the brighter the color will be. Move out of the UV rays and they change back. These beads are also known as sunshine, or magic beads. Some schools use them to show UV rays. Try putting sunblock on them before going outside to test how strong your sunblock is. An of course, Solar Beads are also great for necklaces, bracelets, and other crafts.
