NEW SEASON MOHAIR
Beginning in early November I am beginning to list new season fleeces. They were specially selected for me from a shearing of around one thousand goats. There are wonderful fleeces from kid, young and adult goats and some taken from Show goats, with a variety of lengths and featuring for those of you who desire them, extra long fleeces around 25 cms or 10 inches. All the fleeces exhibit the characteristics that the breeder is favouring, namely even fleeces with easy to separate staples and beautifully aligned fibres to make your job easier, and with the lustre and softness that modern mohair is renowned for.
THIS LISTING
This is a gorgeous, soft, lustrous and tactile very long fleece from a young goat, exhibiting all the characteristics of the mohiar I sell and will suit a wide range of uses. It averages 25cms (10 inches) in length.
Here is what I would like you to know about this listing.
- The staples are predominantly around 25 cms (10 inches) but there can be a little variation due to shearing in a commercial environment.
- There are 30 grams (one ounce) in this auction.
- This fleece has been washed once and is uncombed and undyed. Maybe just a few tiny flecks of vegetable matter left.
- The photos are the actual mohair being offered for sale.
- This fleece is identified with the following reference number YG09Sp25XL.

POSTAGE
If you purchase more than one lot of mohair and they can be posted together I will adjust the postage. Sometimes this will mean that there is no postage on the second item but this will depend on the total weight. Check with me if you need to know for sure :)
Shipping/postage overseas will be by AIRMAIL and will not be more than the actual Australia Post charges. Australia Post cost their postage in weight ranges - up to 250grams, up to 500grams, up to 750grams and so on so I try to list my mohair in weight ranges that will make the best use of the postage charges.
