Description:
An excellent woodland scene in acrylic on artist's paper, signed J. Montano and dating circa circa 1980.
Framed - approx 22 X 18 inches (55.88 X 45.72cm).

This is an excellent English post-Expressionist Acrylic painting dating from the late 20th Century.
The woodland scene depicts the rising verical trunks of the trees contrasted against the textures of verdant grass and a hedgerow gate and the deep shade of the glade. A simple painting with a bright and well balanced pallet, signed J. Montano lower right.
Date:
The painting probably dates to around circa 1980.
Framing:
Original plain moulded Oak. Finish: Natural.
