Another awesome radio from the collection for sale, Motorola Spectra VHF High Band in good condition. For those that are in the commercial radio game, you will know that these beauties are absolutely fantastic performers, built like a brick dunny ! one of the best receivers in my mind of any of this vintage. These arnt so common in Australia, but they are very popular in north America, and this one i purchased from Canada when i lived there and i used it for the 2 meter ham radio band (144-148mhz) and performs flawlessly. This is capable of 128 channels in conventional mode, at the moment has a couple of test frequencies that i programmed into it. This was mainly used as a receiver for the local emergency services.

Just bench tested the old girl, and is transmitting a solid clean 45 watts into my dummy load. Spoke to a fella on our local 2 meter repeater (147mhz) and was given excellent radio test report. This radio's receiver is awesome, just as great at 147mhz as it is at 164mhz. Comes with original Spectra Microphone and plug,(mic in excellent working condition but has few marks and dings,see pics) also (see pics) comes with the mini uhf to SO-239 adapter, and DB15 socket with shell for the speaker connector. Does not come with speaker (any CB extension speaker will do) nor does it come with mounting bracket. The power connectors are short and will have to be extended !

The display is nice and bright with all characters and SELF CHECK displaying perfectly. The whole unit fully functional from what ive programmed it to do :)

Does not come with programming software and/or interface. These are available online (there are many different types and models so be careful). I can program it for the buyer if required for about $25 extra (takes a long time).

There are several great websites dedicated to these radios and all info is available. I can also answer any questions u may have.

As with all my radios, selling without warranty or return of course, but honestly all testing has been 100%. These are definately are great rig. Postage anywhere in Oz will be $20.
