My parents operated a large gemstone business in Melbourne named 'Minex'. Over the years many treasures were collected and saved. My father now feels it is time to let these special pieces go & regularly brings me a bucket of his treasures that he kept from stock & asks me to clear them on eBay. Here's the general book auctions info:  I've had a bit of a clean up and we have so many books and related (new age & gemmological) items, so I'm listing them in several auctions (any that do not sell will be relisted - as store inventory within a few days of ending).

Over the years we have amassed 100's of gems, collectables & books - whilst I love them all (& they are fascinating) it's time for some to find a new home. Some are brand new from our showroom - others are from our personal collection and may have some general usage marks on them (any questions, please ask before bidding)

This time, Lerner offers a practical look at growing and caring for indoor plants. Light, temperature, and humidity are discussed, as well as how to select a healthy plant for the environment in one's house. Caring for a plant through health and sickness is covered, as are the various ways to start new plants from those that are established. The book concludes with a chart of 65 common houseplants, their botanical and common names, amounts of light required, special care, and propagation techniques; many of these plants are pictured and labeled throughout the book. The information is clear, botanically correct, and user-friendly, creating a fine balance for children who are just beginning to or want to learn more about growing healthy indoor plants. The picture-book format belies this title's thoroughness: there is a wealth of material here.

• This is an excellent indoor gardening how-to-do book written for the young adult and beginner to indoor gardening. ISBN 0-688-14754-2 is the library edition with the better binding. The book has 50 large-size pages. As it is written for the young adult the pages are easy to read. However, the information provided is thorough and gives the beginner everything needed to get started with an indoor garden. The full-color illustrations are in watercolor and add quality to the book.
