Australiart prides itself on supplying excellent quality artwork using the best of acrylic paints on extra primed canvas. We are based in Adelaide and where ever possible, most aboriginal artists who reside in Adelaide will conduct their paintings in our home. We relish the opportunity to view each piece of art in process giving us a clearer understanding of every individual story within. This also guarantees the paintings' authenticity and quality. We regularly visit outer communities of South Australia, Northern Territory and Western Australia where we again spend time with each individual artist. Our involvement with the indigeonous artists and their families has spanned well over 10 years. Australiart is a family owned business and is extremely honored to be associated with such great artists who feel welcome to enter our home at any given time and also welcome us into their home.

“Born at Haasts Bluff, Narpula Scobie commenced painting for Papunya Tula Artists in the early 1980s, and was one of the first women to do so in Walungurru. She was married to Johnny Scobie Tjapanangka (now deceased), a Pintupi artist who was involved at teh beginning of the art movement in Papunya. Narpula Scobie's art is still evolving and she finds new ways of depicting the traditional stories of her Dreamings."
