Our tank creates modular rainwater storage systems for urban Australia. Innovative and contemporary in design, Our products aim for maximum capacity, minimum footprint.
It is manufactured in UV stabilized food grade plastic polyethylene, each module has a screened inlet and overflow outlet, and brass threaded outlets.
Our tanks are ideal for narrow passageways and hard to fit places. The steel frames are an integral part of this tank design and will prevent any bulging.
WHY SAVE WATER?
Of all the water in the world, only 3% is fresh. Less than one third of 1% of this fresh water is available for human use. The rest is frozen in glaciers or polar ice caps, or is deep within the earth, beyond our reach.
To put it another way, if 100 litres represents the world's water, about half a tablespoon of it is fresh water available for our use.
SOLUTION:
Rainwater can be used at anytime. For guidelines on safe use, visit www.epa.vic.gov.au. Restrictions do not apply to rainwater collected in a storage tank, provided it is not supplemented with drinking water supply.
Penalties and Enforcement
Stage 3a water restrictions must be followed and water patrols are out in force across Melbourne. If you are issued with a warning notice and still breach the restrictions, you may have your water supply restricted or face prosecution.
Be rewarded for buying and installing water smart products in your home.
Since the launch of the Water Smart Gardens and Homes Rebate Scheme in January 2003 there has been an overwhelming response to take part and help save water. Over 145,000 rebates have been approved helping Victorians save over 1200 megalitres of drinking water a year.
The Government has committed over $10 million to the program to help Victorians to save some money and conserve future water resources.
Due to the success of the program and the continued need to protect our precious drinking water supplies for now and the future, the Victorian Government is providing new rebates.
From 1 January 2007, Victorians on a reticulated water supply are eligible for new rebates of up to $1000 on the purchase and installation of a large rainwater tank connected to your toilet and/or laundry and installed by a licensed plumber.
