Refund Policy

For buyer:

If the item is damaged or faulty upon receiving it, you are entitled to a refund. The conditions of the refund are as follows. Claims must be made within the first 7 days upon receiving your item to entitle you to a refund. FREIGHT is non refundable under any circumstances. lifespan’s refund policy requires you to return the item back to base. If this is not achievable, then lifespan will organize the collection of the freight and forward the costs to the customer. Claims made after this period of time, items will be repaired. If item cannot be repaired, then a replacement may be provided.

NOTE: ITEM MUST BE RETURNED IN ORIGINAL CONDITION AND PACKAGING

Service

lifespan also offers its customers the option of getting their item serviced by one of lifespan's Skilled mechanics at a small cost. All fitness equipment must be serviced to maintain its warranty so please keep this in mind. Servicing your item may prolong its useful life and reduce repair costs.

PICK UP IS AVAILABLE.
PICK UP TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

PICK UP IS AVAILABLE BY REQUEST IN CAMPBELLFIELD VIC AND REGENTS PARK NSW.
PICK UP INSTRUCTIONS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
1. At the completion of the sale, please click our online-booking link to book your pick up . Please check your winning notification email for your reference number.
2. An appointment needs to be made for pick up through our online-booking link only. You cannot just turn up unannounced nor can we make bookings for pick up over the phone. Please allow at least 1 working day before pick up.
3. Cash and Eftpos payments are accepted as forms of payment for items being picked up only (preferred method).
4. If you are making payment before pick up then the payment needs to have cleared before pick up (not recommended).
5. Please provide photo identity and proof of purchase when picking up your item. Your proof of purchase can be found on eBay or within your email account.
6. Please note that in some cases, pick up may not be available due to low stocks so please check with us before bidding if need be.
7. Please note that there is a $19.99 handling fee (per item) for pick up. If you pick up more than one item at the same time, we will give discount and charge you flat rate $39.99 handling fee for the multiple pick ups. This is in relation to the time allocated to service your pick up and load your item.
8. If you wish to authorise a third party to pick up your purchase on your behalf, then you will be required to fill in a Letter of Authorization form.

BACK TO BASE POLICY: If item was picked up and a warranty issue arises, the items need to be brought back to the pick up address for assessment. No house calls will be made. We can organize to have the item brought back at the cost of the customer.

After payment has cleared, Your Treadmill will be sent through door to door company. We will provide you with courier contact number and consignment number. Buyer must provide full street name and telephone number at auctions ends to avoid delays if it differs from your details on eBay VERY IMPORTANT!

Due to Occupational Health and Safety , someone must assist the courier driver with unloading the item as it is too heavy for one person to carry on their own. If you do not have anyone to assist the driver, then you will require a tail gate truck to unload your parcel. There will be an additional charge for a tail gate if you require a tail gate, please contact us via email after the auction has completed.

PLEASE NOTE: If you suspect that the item is damaged upon delivery, please do not sign any papers and contact us immediately. What you must do is sign that "goods need to be inspected" on the consignment. We will also require that you email us some photos of the damaged parts within 3 days of delivery so we can replace the parts necessary.

FAQ's

Question 1: How long does it take to receive my purchase?
As soon as funds are transferred and appear in my account, we will dispatch your item and notify you by email with all relevant information (i.e. consignment number and couriers' contact numbers). Usually, it takes about 1-14 days to deliver item(s) depending on where you are located. We do not sell items unless they are in stock so be careful who you buy from on ebay as some ebay retailers trade in this manner. PLEASE NOTE: FUNDS TAKE 2-3 WORKING DAYS TO APPEAR IN MY ACCOUNT AFTER BEING TRANSFERRED.
Question 2: How long does it take to assemble the item?
The fitness machine takes about 20 minutes to assemble (Approx). It is already partially assembled in a box. It will arrive in through a door to door courier company.
Question 3: What happens if the machine is faulty once received?
We have a skilled technician working for us who can guide you through with resolving the issue. He will call you within 24hrs of receiving your email of complaint and either try and fix the machine by a step by step process over the phone or parts may be issued. If the machine is still not working correctly, it may need to be returned to our workshop for assessment.
Question 4: What happens if the machine is damaged once received?

Question 6: I have paid for my item and have not had any response from lifespan_australia. What's going on?
This situation occurs when we cannot locate your payment. There could be a number of reasons as to why we haven't be able to locate your payment (i.e. incorrect bank details, no reference left while making payment) so it is very important that you regularly check your emails for correspondence from us. If you have not heard from us within 2-3 days after making payment, please email us with you concern asap. Please also provide your day time contact number.
