Sydney, Australia – 1 June, 2006 – Fuji Xerox Printers today announces the launch of the WorkCentre PE220, which brings large office functionality to personal and small business users across Australia. The multifunctional laser printer combines the powers of print, scan, copy and fax into one compact package, with a print speed of 20 pages per minute (ppm) and a maximum resolution of 600 dots per inch (dpi).

The new WorkCentre PE220 offers a rapid print speed and comes with an array of timesaving features, such as the Auto Fit Copy function. This function enables the user to reduce or enlarge an original image to fill a printable area of a letter size page, saving the user time and ensuring a professional finish – crucial for SOHO users.

SOHO businesses continue to blossom in Australia and their IT demands are evolving as they become more successful. Demand is rising for devices that can cover a myriad of disciplines, thus delivering cost savings to small business users and delivering improved efficiency in a market that is becoming increasingly competitive.
