Advantages: Performs well, User friendly

"This thing works well to tell you the temp and depth of water. First I used it to tell how deep my pond is. When retrieving it to put it up, a huge bass took it completely under. It is about 2 " wide and 3-4" long and lime green. He let it go, but I thought I had lost it the first time I had used it. I suggest buying an extra responder for the water. I had it on a separate rod with 12 lb test line.

First time on a lake my brother made fun of me and called it my toy. Within an hour he was asking me what it said. Next time I went fishing with him I forgot it. He was asking about why I didn't bring my toy. Made a believer out of him. We used it close to the dock and bank. It works.

"Ok, first let me say this is a way cool little gaget. Depth, temp, and fishfinder all in one? Yep, and and they all work really well for it's size and cost. I tested it out in all kinds of water and the readings passed with flying colors. And I would have given it 5 stars, but...
I was really wowin' them down at the lake, unitl my 99 year-old uncle spoke up. "Boy if you don't know where the fish are, you got no right to be hold'n that pole. Now you'l shut up about the little green submarine, you're spookin' the fish." It'll catch you fish but you'll get no respect from the old timers.
Now I only use it as a depth finder when I'm out in my canoe... Away from my uncle."

"This fish finder is great for any angler that dose a lot of on-the-shore fishing. Its also great because if you have a lake that you cant put a boat in to you can still have the conveince of having a fish finder. it gives very acurate reading and dosent take up much room.
