Harry Gregson-Williams truly established himself among the top soundtrack composers. Among the illustrious circle of composers who dominant Hollywood's soundtrack business (just to name a few: Hans Zimmer (Gregson-Williams long-term mentor), John Williams, James Horner or Howard Shore), it is Gregson-Williams who is the master of mixing hard electronic tunes with classical and choral elements.

With his highly acclaimed soundtracks for Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Gregson-Williams' soundtracks are now an essential part of the MGS franchise just as Solid Snake is.
