*Important Safety Warning to consider before purchasing a cot

The main design features of the Australian Standard cover no limb entrapment spaces, secure locking mechanisms that resists the child on the drop-side and only two legs with castors. However if four legs are fitted with castors at least two must have brakes. There should be no horizontal bars, no beading that could cause a choking hazard, a snug fitting mattress with no gaps wider than 400mm and locking devices that are easy to use for an adult but very difficult for a child. There must also be a clear difference between locked and unlocked. Place the cot away from windows, heaters and power points. Reduce the risk of suffocation by not using pillows of any type for a child under the age of 2 years.  If your cot has a moveable base, set this at the lowest level once your child can sit up to prevent them from pulling themselves up and falling out. Always follow the manufacturer’s safety instructions for assembling.

 

*** INSURANCE COVER AND DELIVERY TERMS*** 

Insurance Cover against loss or damage of your valuable freight is included in the delivery charges outlined below and covers your goods up to the value of $1,500. In the event your goods sustain damage in transit we will replace any damaged parts. If your goods are lost a full replacement will be sent out at no additional cost to you.

Your goods MUST be signed for at time of delivery so a delivery address where someone is available to sign during business hours on Monday - Friday is required. Please inspect that your items have arrived in good order before signing for them. When signing for your goods you are agreeing to the courier’s terms which state your goods have been received in good condition and once a signature is obtained you waive your right to claim for any damages. Any damage should be reported to us via email within within 48 hours of receiving the goods. If your goods are being delivered to a business address please inform your colleagues of these conditions, as the courier will accept a signature from anyone at the delivery address. If the goods are signed for without inspection no claim will be honoured by the carrier or All 4 Bubs, so please ensure you read and understand these conditions in full.

Your goods are flat packed and all reasonable care is taken to ensure your they are packaged in a way which minimises the risk of damage in transit however the goods are handled by individuals and accidents can occur. If you do not wish to sign for your goods and would like to provide the courier company with authority to leave your goods in a safe location at your delivery address please let the seller know however we do not encourage this as giving authority to leave the goods without inspection voids your insurance cover and you will not be able to claim for any damages. Only one delivery attempt is covered in the delivery fee. If no one is available to sign for the delivery the courier will be authorised to leave the goods.
