The TwinStar family of optical instruments is made by one of the largest "private label" optical component fabricators in the world. In fact, this telescope was manufactured in the very same factory that makes optical products for Bushne , Tasc , Knus and many other name brands. While this is nearly the same instrument you may see in a catalogue for hundreds of dollars more, by developing the Twinstar brand, the factory is able to sell the same product to us for much, much less. This telescope is brand new and has never been removed from the original factory packaging.
