LOVELY WIDE SILVER BRACELET BY FAR FAN OF MEXICO
When it comes to silver there is not a better or more beautiful moderately priced investment than the Vintage Silver Jewelry of Mexico's Silver Renaissance. Made in Mexico City and Taxco by a handful of avant-guarde designers, Mexican silver necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings, brooches and silver belt buckles are prized by collectors and museums alike.
Far Fan produces jewelery of quality which is extremely collectable and wearable. This auction is for a beautiful bracelet which is simple in design so it can be wider without being too much. The wave links are nice and flat which makes this a comfortable bracelet to wear.
It is 8" long (less when closed) and 1 3/8" wide. Weight is 60 gms of Sterling Silver. The hallmark reads - HECHO EN MEXICO, FAR FAN in a circle and STERLING 925 in a crescent. There is no Eagle registration mark which, although not conclusive of being pre 1948, in this instance is highly likely.
This is a genuine vintage bracelet which has been hand wrought in the 1940's in Mexico, it has no damage or repairs, surface scratches only. Please bid with confidence on this item which I am sure will please whoever is fortunate enough to have the opportunity to wear it.
I would be happy to supply more information or photographs if requested. Thank you for viewing this auction.
