  Herbal Supplement

Boswellin, is a gum resin extract from Boswellia serrata. Boswellin has high levels of beta-boswellic acids for which Boswellin is standardized. Boswellia serrata is also known as guggal and Indian Frankincense. Boswellia serrata is found in India in highland areas.

Boswellia carteri, olibanum, or frankincense is made from the resin of the Boswellia careri tree. Boswellin, Boswellia carteri, or frankincense is found in Saudi Arabia and Somalia, the resin from the tree is allowed to harden. Boswellia carteri, or frankincense besides the resins includes volatile oils, beta-boswellic acids and mucilages.

Boswellic acids also exhibit anti-inflammatory behaviour by inhibiting leukotriene synthesis. Specifically, it inhibits the activity of the enzyme 5-lipoxygenase. Boswellic acids are also thought to decrease the symptoms of asthma.

Curcumin and Turmeric have been added for their synergistic and complementary effects.

Suggested Usage:As an herbal dietary supplement, take 1 capsule 3 times daily, preferably before a meal or afterwards.

Active Ingredients (per tablet)*: Boswellia ® (Boswellia serrata) (resin) (Extract of gum resins standardized to contain 65% (162 mg) Boswellic Acids) 250mg, Curcumin Extract (Curcuma longa) (root) (min. 90% standardized extract of turmeric root powder) 100mg, Turmeric Root Powder 150mg.

Inactive Ingredients*: Rice Flour, Gelatin (Capsule), Magnesium Stearate and Silica.

* Contains no sugar, salt, starch, yeast, wheat, gluten, corn, soy, milk or preservatives.
