NANNY is a baby breath monitor that monitors the breathing and movements of infants during sleep. NANNY was designed to give parents peace of mind whilst baby is sleeping.

NANNY is medically certified. It is an early detection device that may assist parents and carers of infants against conditions such as sleep apnoea and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

Nanny continuously checks the baby's breathing and movements to give an early warning to parents or carers of possible danger and may save babies life!

NANNY triggers a loud acoustic and visual alarm if the babys breathing and movements stop for longer than 20 seconds or if the rate of breathing is bellowing 8 breaths per minute. This triggers the device to alarm you the baby may be in trouble with a life threatening condition (SIDS, allergy, sudden illness, choking…) giving you precious time to take remedial action to help your baby when baby is in need of assistance the most.

NANNY has no physical contact with the baby and does not generate any form of energy. Its passive sensing has no harmful effect on the little human body.

How does Nanny Work?

NANNY' s sensor pad, positioned under the bed's mattress, detects the gentle movements of an infant's chest. Signals from the sensor go to the control unit, which confirms regular breathing and movements by a green light. NANNY has no physical contact with the baby and it also does not generate any form of energy. Its passive sensing has no harmful effect on the little human body.

NANNY triggers a loud acoustic and visual alarm if the babys breathing and movements stop for longer than 20 seconds or if the rate of breathing is bellowing 8 breaths per minute. This allows for the early detection of SIDS and other life threatening conditions (allergy, sudden illness, choking) to be indicated in time to save baby.

Please note that the Nanny Monitor CAN NOT take any action itself in the event of an alert. It will sound an audible alarm to which the carer or parent must physically go to the baby and check vital signs and breathing.

How do you Install Nanny?

The installation is very quick and easy. Place the sensor pad under the mattress. Insert batteries to the control unit and fix the control unit to the bed using the fastening belt.

After connecting the sensor's cable to the unit Nanny is ready to start guarding.

How do you Operate Nanny?

After you put the baby to the bed, turn the unit on (this is confirmed by a beep and flash of all lights). The green light flashes according to the baby's breaths and movements. In case of an alarm, the siren will sound and the red light will light up. The red battery light flashes when the battery capacity is low.
