masterfully Hand-Carved out of Genuine Cottonwood Root by

Hopi Kachina Artist William Adams, Sr.!

 

 

The Parrot Katsina (Kyash), is one of several Katsinam credited with bringing

abundant summer growth to the corn crops on the Mesas.

 

The Feathers of the Parrot were prized by prehistoric Indian groups.

 

Feathers and even live parrots were traded from Central America as far north as the

Four-Corners area!
