2009 Starbucks Taiwan #46 Gift Card - Whale Swimming , Deaflympics Games

One NEW AND UNUSED STARBUCKS Gift Card, Mint+ Condition. 


Starbucks is the sponsor of the World Games 2009 and a corporate sponsor to the 21st Summer Deaflympics this September in Taipei. If you translate the Chinese from this set, they are officially called 2009 Sports Cards, probably because Starbucks is associated with both games in Taiwan. We believe they are generic in appearance to accommodate both events. The World Games 2009 name stuck shortly after their release.

This is Taiwan's 46th issued Starbucks Cards issued for World Games 2009. They were released on July 2nd, 2009 exclusively in Taiwan only.

It uses Whales to symbolize the speed in the sports of Swimming in Deaflympics.  It shows how athletes can swim smoothly and relaxly in the ocean just like whales. 


Collectors Note: Only 10,000 sets will be made, making this a unique find for the collector.

An IC-chip on the back of the cards. The card is designed to be used in Taiwan only.

Card Serial # starts with: 090501
