This product works in: 60/80 GB 5th Generation iPods (iPod Video)

List of the problems includes but not limited to: "not recognized by iPod, iTunes, iPod Updater or both"; "noisy"; "won't start" etc.

Can be installed in a 60 or 80 GB iPod Video with no other hardware changes. Does not include the rubber shock-absorbing bumpers and blue foam padding (these can be transfered from your existing drive).
Cannot be used in a 30 GB iPod Video without purchasing the the parts listed below due to the increased thickness of the larger hard drive (8mm vs. 5mm).
