For all shipping customers please note the following:
We use a national freight company for all mattress
deliveries (other then Sydney weekend deliveries).
In most cases you will receive your
mattress in 100% faultless condition in a timely manner.
Please note though, there are some things to consider when
getting your mattress freighted by a national freight company, these are:
1. We send the mattress in a plastic protective cover, from time to time this
cover may become open in transit, this may cause your mattress to have some scratches/dirt marks etc. The likelihood of this occurring is increased in
wet weather conditions or regional/long distance delivery addresses. Note this
is not covered by insurance.
2. Postage times are a guide only and delays can occur, note a able bodied person is required at receiving end to assist driver with the unloading of your mattress.
3. We post within 48 hours of receiving payment and cannot
open a postage query with the freight company unless five + business days have
passed since we posted your item.
4. We can request driver to call on approach of delivery
although we cannot guarantee an exact delivery time frame for example 2pm
on a Tuesday afternoon.
If you are not home to accept delivery the driver will leave
a calling card for you to contact them so you can arrange a mutually agreeable
delivery time.
5. Insurance for $9 is highly recommended for loss or theft in the postal
system. Insurance cannot be purchased for customers requesting driver to drop
items to unattended addresses without being signed for.
To note for customers requiring shipping.
All metro areas generally between 1 - 3 days
All regional areas generally between a 3 - 7 days after payment received by bay-gallery.
We use a freight company for delivery.
Please
note most mattress's are delivered via the freight company without issue, occasionally though
with mattress items the protective plastic cover gets torn /ripped in transit
and small dirt/marks/scratches can appear on mattress if this occurs, This happens
only occasionally although remote locations and or rain can increase
the chance of this occurring.
Please note all care taken on this end
but we cannot accept liability for these issues arising from courier/freight
company.
Delivery may be unavailable to a small percentage of areas or may be significantly higher then above for extreme remote areas (eg remote WA etc).
