SquareTrade © AP6.0This finely engineered, quality home theatre speaker sound system from Cadence consists of four tower speakers (two of which are used for the front audio stage and two are used for the rear surround stage), one centre channel and one subwooofer. The sound system is active/powered which means that an amplifier is built into the subwoofer and this amplifer powers all the speakers. No AV Receiver is needed, however, for the best sound performance use an AV Receiver.

Each tower speaker is floor standing and has micro sound quality with a 2-way 3 speaker system. Power handling is 50 to 200 Watts with a frequency response of 100Hz to 20KHz and is 4-8 OHM compatible. The centre channel is also a 2-way 3 speaker system. Power handling is 100 Watts RMS and 200 Watts Peak with a frequency response of 150Hz to 20KHz and is 4-8 OHM compatible. The subwoofer is active powered with a 8" down firing subwoofer. Frequence response is 20Hz to 20KHz. The built-in amplifier provides 200 Watts of power to the subwoofer and 50 Watts x 5 channels of power for the other speakers. That's an impressive 450 Watt amplifier.
