New GE "DJL" Lamp Similar: DCH DJA DFP DFA DFN DFC DLH!

This is a new General Electric DJL 150 watt 120 volt lamp with focusing reflector.

This is a new lamp, with box missing, with no sign of bulb blackening. Compare at $30 to $50 elsewhere. This is NOS (New Old Stock) which is not a problem, contrary to misinformation published elsewhere; lamp filaments do not get more brittle with storage. Also, there is a vacuum inside so no way for the reflector to get oxidized or tarnished. It has been tested and will be well padded for shipment.

This can also replace lamp types DCH DJA DFN DFC and DFP if your projector has room for a bulb with 1/4" larger diameter to suit the larger reflector. The optimum focus distance of the DJL is a bit different so light uniformity might be a bit lower in this other equipment. This DJL can also replace type DFA if the clear top (instead of opaque) is not a problem. This DJL can also replace the DLH 250 watt lamp but light output will be a bit less and you should not use still frame or slow motion since the DJL does not have a dichroic reflector.

Rated average life is 15 hours in continuous burning, but nobody including the manufacturer or myself will warranty the life of a particular bulb. It will be shortened by turning it on and off, vibration, shock, high line voltage over 120, inadequate cooling air, and maybe even by the phase of the moon. ;-)
