This item comes from a home in a Papua New Guinea village, it is not a tourist item. Comes with Appraisal that shows authenticity from Harold E. Gallasch of the Tineriba Tribal Gallery (Valour Registered with the Federal Government). Appraisal can be emailed before purchase.

Carved and painted good luck home board from the Sepik region of Papua New Guinea. Height 153cm, width 27cm.  Some similar boards were used for war however this is a board was placed inside or outside the house for good luck, they are very rare.  This board dates from the 1960’s.
